California artist, Sarah Lam works both in plein air and in her studio to complete her colorful landscape and paintings of domesticated animals. Preferring the outdoors, Lam is drawn to local environments and rural scenes. Recently, Lam began competing successfully in national plein air competitions, where her paintings have received several prestigious awards.
