The DHS Baroque Ensemble (DHSBE) is an auditioned orchestral ensemble which will focus on Early Music, Baroque and early Classical Orchestral Music. Auditions announcements are in January and live auditions will take place in early spring. This performance ensemble is open to the following instrumentation: violin, viola, cello, bass, Key Board- Harpsichord. Glenn Takai was an American ceramic artist. He studied at California State University, Sacramento and at the University of California Davis. Glenn’s ceramic figures are a powerful narrative. Each sculpture captures an important moment or memory in life. The family is often the focus of Takai’s work, tracing the path of three generations of men: his great grandfather, his father, himself and his brother, and his two sons.
