Sean K Sutter  is an artist and illustrator working and living in Northern California. He currently resides in Davis Ca, with his beautiful wife and daughter.

Mr. Sutter studied painting at Humboldt State University, and holds his bachelors degree in Studio Art.  

Pursuing excellence in painting Sean began painting en plein air in 2011. Through close observation his respect and awe for nature has only grown. He is regularly inspired by the subtle beauty present in even mundane scenes. Mr.Sutter has a deep reverence for wild places, but regularly finds himself gravitating toward the boarders between Nature and Civilization. He neither praises nor admonishes the effects humans have on the earth, but always acknowledges it.
