New Paintings by Pat Mahony

May 18 - July 2, 2016

Opening Reception: Saturday May 28, from 7pm-9pm

Celebrate Pat Mahony's Work & Tuscany Residence

With the arrival of summer, so too arrived Pat Mahony's most recent exhibition at the John Natsoulas Gallery. Her portrayal of the "perfect chaos of nature" is a fitting companion for the warm weather and slow evening of summer.

Come join us on Saturday, June 18th for an evening of art and refreshments at the John Natsoulas Gallery (521 1st Street, Davis, CA) from 7pm to 9pm.

Pat Mahony was born in 1951 in Los Angeles California and graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Arts, with honors, in 1973.

Her work hovers between abstraction and representation.  Saturated tones and lush abstraction combine with the goal of creating the perfect balance between dark and light.

Mahony’s subject matter ranges from urban scenes, river landscapes, and still life to figures.  Her work emphasizes color, composition and drama.

Mahony’s work has been collected by numerous corporations, private parties and museums across the United States.
