September 26 - October 24, 2026

Reception: September 26, TBA time

The John Natsoulas Gallery is thrilled to announce the upcoming solo exhibition by fabric artist Joy Stocksdale. Using polychromatic screen printing techniques, she creates elegant wall hangings inspired by different plant and geometric forms. By printing directly onto silk panels, her works are ethereal and delicate, but also surprisingly strong. Elaborate hanging mechanisms lend each one a full-bodied dimensionality, creating a layered appearance that result in complex and captivating works.

Stocksdale has an extensive educational background in the fiber arts - including a BFA from the California College of the Arts, a diploma from the University of London, and additional training at the Penland School of Crafts and the Rhode Island School of Design. She is a nationally exhibiting artist and educator.
