Martin Camarata
Martin Camarata creates art to give form to personal experiences, aiming to transform the grey and intangible into something tangible. His work is driven by a need to act on experience. He focuses on what is relevant and effective, shaping their process by what to include and exclude.
His practice responds to stimuli from various spheres—regional, national, universal, and artistic. When something resonates deeply, Camarata is compelled to respond creatively. His goal is to produce work that is ecstatic and possesses its own integrity, independent of the artist, and engages with the sublime.
For Camarata, art is a process of shedding layers and evolving with each piece.
